Video: Chamber Hosts 2022 State of the City of Kenmore Address

The Bothell Kenmore Chamber of Commerce was pleased to host its annual State of the City of Kenmore event to inform its members and the community of the latest news and information regarding Kenmore. Mayor Nigel Herbig and City Manager Rob Karlinsey outlined current Kenmore projects, recent accomplishments and challenges, Council’s history, mission and vision, and the future plans and primary goals for the city of Kenmore and its residents and businesses. We heard valuable and inspiring information, and were reminded of the many things the City has accomplished and about the many plans for Kenmore’s future.

This year’s event was held in person at Kenmore City Hall on July 19, 2022.  Free to attend and open to the community, guests were treated to a delicious lunch catered by Neighborhood Grills Catering. We thank the 65+ people that joined us to hear the 2022 address.

The Bothell Kenmore Chamber of Commerce was pleased to host its annual State of the City of Kenmore event to inform its members and the community of the latest news and information regarding current Kenmore projects, to look back at the accomplishments and challenges of 2020, and to discuss the future plans and goals for Kenmore and its residents and businesses.

This year’s event was held Live (virtually) from The Lodge at St. Edward Park on May 6, 2021. We were treated to interior views and some of the features inside these wonderful spaces at this newly opened lodge in Kenmore! We thank the 100+ people that joined us live online to hear the City of Kenmore Mayor David Baker & City Manager Rob Karlinsey deliver the 2021 address. The two outlined the city’s accomplishments, as well as the primary goals and focus for the city and council for 2021. We heard valuable information, and were reminded of the many things the City accomplished last year during extremely unusual times. We also learned more about the many plans for Kenmore’s future.

This year’s event was held virtually on April 28, 2021 and we thank the 100+ people that joined us online to hear City of Bothell Mayor Liam Olsen & Interim City Manager Erin Leonhart deliver the 2021 address. The two outlined the city’s accomplishments, as well as the primary goals and focus for the city and council for 2021. We heard valuable information, and were reminded of the many things the City accomplished last year during extremely unusual times. We also learned more about the many plans for Bothell’s future.

Chamber Hosts 2020 State of the City of Bothell Luncheon

The Bothell Kenmore Chamber was pleased to host our annual State of the City of Bothell Luncheon this week. For the fourth year Bothell City Manager Jennifer Phillips delivered the address, and this year she was joined by newly appointed Mayor Liam Olsen. The two outlined the city’s accomplishments, as well as the primary goals and focus for the city and council for 2020.

An extensive range of topics were covered during the presentation including: affordable housing, public safety, community health, economic development, community connections, cybersecurity for government, parks and recreation, and more.

The Chamber also presented our Student of the Month Award to Shaena Kruse Ramos of Bothell High School. Shaena was introduced by Bothell High School Principal Juan Price.

Holiday Auction Photos & Fun!

We are very pleased to announce that our Chamber’s 2019 Holiday Dinner & Auction event was a super success!

Close to 200 fabulous people joined us last week for a fun evening of socializing, dining, drinking, bidding on auction items, playing games, and more!

We are extremely thankful to all who attended, donated, sponsored, purchased, volunteered, and auctioneered at this important Chamber fundraiser. Your contributions go far to support the Chamber’s important business- and community-building programs, our economic vitality efforts, and the 50+ events and meetings we organize and manage throughout the year.

The 2019 Bothell Underground Beer Festival was a success!

Thank you to everyone that joined us on Saturday at the 6th Annual Bothell Beer Festival.  Hundreds of craft beer and cider lovers gathered again in the Bothell City Hall Garage to sample new varieties as well as their favorites, socialize, listen to music, and play games. We send a special thank you to all our contributing breweries and cideries, musicians, food trucks and lighting specialist. And an extra special thank you to our volunteers and sponsors: The Merc Apartments, Harborstone Credit Union, Byler Real Estate, One89Dwell, Recology & Zulu’s Board Game Cafe – we couldn’t do it without any of you!

12th Annual Chamber Chilifest Raises $1,204 + 825lbs Of Food For Charity

The Chamber is pleased to announce that $1,204 + 825 lbs of food were collected at our 2019 Chamber Chilifest to benefit the Northshore Senior Center’s (NSC) Food Programs!

Over 20 local chefs, both amateur and professional, generously donated their time and delicious chilis to benefit the NSC’s Food Programs that serve older and disabled adults in our community!

Attendees at the event brought donations of food and cash, sampled lots of unique chilis, and watched the chefs compete for fun awards. The Bothell Fire Department even brought one of their fire engines for kids of all ages. Most awards were determined by a team of special local judges. And, attendees who donated at least $1 or one food item were able to vote for the People’s Choice Award.
